Curriculum projects - unleashing the power of the curriculum

Exciting curriculum projects are taking place all over the world, with schools and colleges constantly planning and trying out new, creative ideas to make a difference to their learners.

Sometimes, however, schools and colleges feel that their own ideas, which are tailored to their learners needs, are not as valid as official programmes.

The Foundation aims to build schools confidence by:
  • contributing to your curriculum project ideas
  • helping put them into practice, and
  • writing them up as a piece of research.

Well-run projects that are rigorously evaluated will help build the case for curriculum change and give other schools and colleges the confidence to try new approaches.

By pooling this experience and expertise the Foundation aims to influence public policy, and unleash the power of the curriculum.

Curriculum design & materials

Over time, the Curriculum Foundation will produce a range of curriculum models and materials to help schools and colleges design and deliver an engaging curriculum for their learners.

These will be based on the Foundation's projects and will draw on the ideas and experiences of schools and colleges around the world.
