| A busy half term
In its first half-term of existence, the Foundation has already been working with a wide range of authorities and schools. We have: • run conferences
Working with Local Authorities We have been asked to work with schools or contribute to conferences by: Bedfordshire, Birmingham, Kent, Kirklees, Leeds, North Somerset, Slough, Somerset, and Wigan. Some of these, such as Birmingham and Wigan are longer pieces of work with groups of schools; some are one-off contributions, some of which might lead to longer involvement. Working with School Clusters A lot of our involvement is directly with school clusters or partnerships. At the moment this is mainly running conferences or workshop days, but we are working on extending this into longer term involvement. We are involved with clusters in: Birmingham, Bristol, Chesterfield, Chippenham, Leeds, Morecambe, Lancashire, North Somerset, North Yorkshire, Sheffield and Liverpool. Conference inputs We have been asked to contribute to a range of conferences. These include: the National Primary Heads Association, the British Council, Inside Government, Outstanding Schools, National Governors, Southend Heads and Governors, Association of Assessment Advisors and Inspectors, and Liverpool Secondary Heads. If you want the Foundation to work with your school, your cluster or your local authority contact us at admin@curriculumfoundation.org. |
